We pride ourselves on being able to provide professional and accredited training to local authorities and private sector organisations. All of our instructors are professional and industry experts in their respective fields and will always take into account the needs of each individual, responding to their skill level, abilities and past experiences.

Our Range of Certifications and Accreditations

• NPORS - NPORS is one of the UK’s leading accreditation and registration bodies across the construction, industrial, agriculture and marine sectors. At Skills Training Centre we provide NPORS registered courses for Plant Training including, Lift Trucks, Cranes/Lifting, Earth Moving Machinery, and Accessing Equipment.

• EORS (Equipment Operators Registration Scheme) - EORS is recognised by the Highways Agency and Local Authorities and is aimed at those who are using plant on a regular or adhoc basis, who are working for Local Authorities, Local Authority Contractors, Highway Contractors, Highways Agency or other similar organisations. At Skills Training Centre we provide EORS accredited courses for Plant Training, including Lift Trucks, Cranes/Lifting, Earth Moving Machinery and Accessing Equipment.

• JAUPT – JAUPT is a not-for-profit company that manages the application process and quality assurance programme of centres and courses for a range of driving courses. At Skills Training Centre we provide a range of JAUPT-approved courses including, Driver CPC courses, Driver Essentials and Transport for London.

• LANTRA – LANTRA is one of the leading awarding bodies for land-based industries in both the UK and the Republic of Ireland. We provide a vast range of LANTRA courses for a wide variety of industries. Including grounds maintenance, winter service, highways, sector scheme, tree inspection, pesticides and chainsaw maintenance and cutting.

• City & Guilds – City & Guilds are a global leader in skills development across a wide range of industries, such as; beauty, construction, highways, education and retail. At Skills Training Centre we offer a range of City & Guilds New Roads & Street Works courses including our 5-day programme, a 6033 Highway Safety Inspection programme and a 6033 NRSWA and Permit Compliance Inspections programme. We also provide a collection of  Winter Service courses,

• FAIB (The First Aid Industry Body) - FAIB are solely dedicated to ensuring high-quality standards of training in the First Aid industry. At Skills Training Centre we offer a wide range of First Aid courses affiliated with FAIB including Emergency First Aid at Work, Mental Health and Well-being in the Workplace and Paediatric First Aid.

• RPII (Register of Play Inspectors International) - The RPII is the official UK body for examining, accrediting and certificating inflatable, indoor and outdoor play inspectors and providing training courses to ensure playground safety standards are met. At Skills Training Centre we provide multiple playground inspection courses both for Routine Visual Inspection and Operational Playground Inspection.

• NPTC – Provides a wide range of land-based qualifications and all of their courses are developed with industry experts and employers to ensure that they support the skills of today’s industry. At Skills Training Centre we provide a large selection of NPTC accredited courses including; Pesticides and a Tractor Driving course which includes a basic introduction, an advanced course and a test.

At Skills Training Centre, we don’t believe in delivering courses that just tick boxes, we provide training that allows our attendees to learn new skills, improve existing skills, retain industry-based knowledge and be able to implement their skills and findings within their workplace and organisations.
