Who should attend?
Food technology teachers, technicians of food technology and other staff from primary or secondary schools who handle food generally on school premises, supervise at lunchtime or as a teaching assistant.
Course aim
To provide delegates with a knowledge of the basic principles of food hygiene.
To provide knowledge of how to prepare food that is safe to eat.
Course content
It is recommended by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health to attend update training every 3 years.
Important Information
All candidates must bring with them photographic evidence in order to sit the exam at the end of the course.
The following are acceptable forms of I.D:
- Passport
- Driving licence
- Student Union card
- Work pass
- Age 'prove it' card for 18 to 21 years
