Who should attend?
All those who are required to carry out and/or monitor deep excavations in Trenches or Shafts.
Course aim
To enable staff to excavate and backfill deep trenches and shafts safely in accordance with current legislation.
Learning objectives
By the end of the course delegates will:-
- Be aware of current legislation
- Be aware of their Health & Safety responsibilities
- Be able to Safely Excavate & Support Deep Trenches & Shafts
- Be able to Safely Backfill & Withdraw support in Deep Trenches & Shafts
