Workers actively engaged in manual tasks – bricklaying, painting, carpentry, labouring, electrics, plumbing, ground work etc.
Course aim
To raise workers awareness and understanding of the environmental challenge facing the
construction industry. Delegates need to gain a basic understanding of environmental
legislation, grasp the concept of environmental aspects and impacts in relation to construction
activities, be able to segregate waste streams and be aware of potential environmental incidents and to assist in responding to emergencies.
