To satisfy the formal training element of the Code of Practice for Rider Operated Fork Trucks.

To meet competence test requirements as follows

• Demonstrate the manoeuvring of a loaded truck through a chicane going forwards
• Demonstrate this manoeuvre in reverse
• Carry out various stacking and de-stacking exercises within a main isle, at low, medium and high levels
• Deposit the load squarely, close to a vertical face
• Satisfactorily complete a series of questions supplied on a multiple choice test paper
