Driver Certificate of Professional Competence

Driver CPC is short for “Driver Certificate of Professional Competence”. It is a new qualification that all professional bus; coach; lorry; and Van drivers (over 3.5 ton) will need to have if they want to drive for a living. Driver CPC is being introduced across the European Union to maintain high driving standards.
The Initial qualification is about ensuring that drivers have the base knowledge that they need to start out in the industry.

First Aid at Work

People at work can suffer injuries or fall ill. It doesn’t matter whether the injury or the illness is caused by the work they do or not. What is important is that they receive immediate attention and that an ambulance is called in serious cases. First Aid at Work covers the arrangements you must make to ensure this happens. It can save lives and prevent minor injuries becoming major ones.

Highway Inspection and Monitoring

City & Guilds 6033 Environmental Services Vocational Qualification
Throughout the UK there is a widespread recognition of the importance of highway maintenance and the high value placed on this both by users and the wider community. There is also an increasing understanding of the serious consequences of failure to invest adequately and effectively in maintaining the local highway network, in particular the progressive deterioration of safety, reliability, and quality, eventually requiring even greater levels of investment in the future.

Highway Inspection

This course is intended for those carrying out highways inspection in their first year of appointment and as a useful refresher for more experienced highway inspectors. The course provides a good basic knowledge of all areas of highways maintenance and inspection in which they might be involved. The course includes a site visit at which an inspection will be undertaken.
