DCPC - Driver Essentials and Highway Code

Important Information - Please read before you Book

If you do not have a DQC Card please call us on 020 8619 0939 before you book. If you do not have a DQC Card and decide to book online via our website without calling us first please note you will not receive a refund of your course fee if we later ascertain that you were not eligible to attend the course you had booked. Please Note: it is a requirement of JAUPT that we confirm candidates identity at the start of every 7 hour course.  Even if you are attending 5 consecutive days with the same trainer we still need to check your ID to confirm your identity.  Please ensure you bring your ID with you on every day of Driver CPC Periodic Training.  Acceptable forms of ID are: photo card driving licence, driver qualification card, digital tachograph card, old-style paper licence, with valid in date passport.  In order to upload your hours on to the JAUPT recording and evidencing database we need to have confirmation of your driving licence number.  Therefore please ensure that your ID contains this information. The training we offer is Driver CPC Periodic Training. We do not routinely offer the initial DQC (modules 2 & 4) qualification – although this can be arranged if you have a large group of drivers requiring it. If you passed your test after the 10 September 2008 (for PCV drivers) or the 10 September 2009 (for LGV drivers) then you must complete and pass modules 2 & 4 and obtain your Initial Driver Qualification Card (DQC) before you are able to undertake any periodic training. Please note if you did pass your PCV test after the 10/9/2008 or your LGV test after the 10/9/2009 and you have not yet completed modules 2 & 4 and obtained your initial DQC then you may not be legally able to drive commercially until you have obtained your initial DQC. However some exceptions do apply. As the first deadlines for Driver CPC (10 September 2013 for PCV drivers) and 10 September 2014 for LGV drivers) have now passed, all professional drivers, regardless of when they passed their driving test should now have obtained a DQC to enable them to continue to drive professionally. If you do not have a DQC then you may not legally be able to drive commercially until you have obtained one. If you would like further information on this please contact us before you book.
