Playground Inspection

The aim of these programmes is to enable delegates to carry out either routine visual or operational playground inspections safely, in accordance with the European Standards and to take appropriate follow up actions. If required, we can assess individual playground inspectors to the national RPII standards and register their competence with the Register of Play Inspectors International (RPII). PLAYGROUND INSPECTION - OPERATIONAL INSPECTIONS

OPTION 1 : 2 Day training only
OPTION 2 : 3 Day training & RPII assessment

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Anyone responsible for carrying out operational (one to three monthly) inspections of play equipment or play areas and those in a supervisory or maintenance role.
Those completing the course will be eligible to take the Register of Play Inspectors International assessment for routine visual inspections on the same day (option 2: extra charges apply).

CERTIFICATION

  • Option 1: STC certificate of training
  • Option 2: STC certificate of training and registration with RPII for routine visual inspections on successful completion of the assessment.

PLAYGROUND INSPECTION - OPERATIONAL INSPECTIONS (REFRESHER WITH RPII)

OPTION 2 : 2 Days training & RPII assessment

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This is a refresher course, so is only suitable for those who have attended a two day training course on Operational Inspections of Children's Playgrounds with the past three years.

A Skills Training Centre certificate will be issued to those who complete the course. (NB. Any candidates who attended the two day course more than three years ago will have to re-attend the two day course).

Those completing the one day refresher will be eleigible to take the Register of Play Inspectors International assesment for operational inspections on an additional day(option 2: extra charges apply)

  • Option 2: STC certificate of training and registration with RPII for operational inspections on successful completion of the assessment.
