CDM - AN INTRODUCTION TO ENVIRONMENTAL BEST PRACTICE
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
A two day course for all those involved in construction work at the planning stage - clients,
developers, designers, CDM coordinators, principal contractors, contractors, health and safety
managers, regulators and local authorities.
Pre-requisite:
Ideally delegates should have a basic understanding of the CDM 2007 regulations.
AIMS
Demonstrate environmental awareness for construction projects at pre and post construction
stages and assist in the implementation of environmental best practice on construction projects
during the construction phase.
OBJECTIVES
Too train those with project planning responsibilities to a level that will enable them to assist at
the planning stage of construction projects and in techniques for the implementation of
environmental best practice on construction projects.

best practice.
AIMS
Raise environmental awareness of site managers and supervisors who have day to day responsibilities for environmental performance on construction sites.
OBJECTIVES
Too train workface managers and supervisors, in techniques to assist with the implementation and
monitoring of environmental best practice on construction projects.
Site managers, supervisors or others involved with the day to day implementation of environmental
best practice.
